If you have any combat tips, strategies or ehhhem hidden secrets share em here.

Has any one tried Pray flashing battles. I have been testing for a bit now and it seems to make a hit/no hit ratio difference.

Ill explain more later on.

Hm interesting.

Well for f2p pking with no armor I recommend ranged/2h or baxe.

Its best to stay around 30 - 40 hp. When fighting use range prayer. When you opponent gets to around 25 - 30 hp, keep shooting and then pull out your ko item. Quite a basic technique. Since your using range its very fast and hard to keep up with.

I'll make some more complicated p2p pking techniques later.

Ok here is what I did with a lvl 125 buddy in F2P.

Both Full Stats
Atk Setting
Power Ammy
15% def Pray Solid on

10% Flash Atk Pray

The flash atk goes like this (and only if you have a sold boradband connection)
When his scim hits me DO NOTHING. Just as I am about to hit thim I hit 10% atk on. wait for him to hit me. Then when I hit him again turn it of. It really needs to be a split second before you hit.

You have to wait one fill round as you are likley to get hit if you change it while the enemy hits.

I noticed this when I was messing around with pray and seemed to get hit alot. I was more when they were about to hit me.

I think it work a litte bit on the principle that the First Hit is more likly to land. Ex ppl smacking each other once with 2h then running away. 2 secons later hitting agian with 2h.

It takes a little getting used to but I KO the 125 3 times in a row using this techneque and timming it just right. He KOed me next round then I got him 2 more times.

I stopped using this and prayed 15% def 15% atk and he KOed me 3 more times in a row. Could be random could not be. It does seem to land more this way.

Hey guys i haven't msged like for so long i miss all of you and i am just so into going to college and everything i havent had chance to msg anything. About runescape i don't play at all anymore. the last time i played was last month and now i quit. its not fun anymore. It used to be this awesome game with lots of trades, lots of love, and sometimes treachery but that was what made the game so good.

Just like the life itself, runescape can never be the most perfect place in the world. It would be weird to live in a place like stepford in the movie stephford wives wouldnt it?

But alot of people dont understand this concept. They curse god everyday for bringing so much pain to this world. When all god is doing is bring the ying and yang in equilibrium. Noone lives a perfect life, nothing is designed perfectly, and in an uncanny way, people can only live in places like this. So when we try to make things perfect, it fails. When we make it disastrous, it also fails. Runescape was a game of equal harmony and even though we had our downs, we still rode the coaster and flied with it.

There is so many proofs to runescapes decline. Go to any website that rates mmorpg games and you will see that the rating of Rs summarily dropped to nothing. MMMORPG.com is one of them, where when rs was 8.1 rating went to 6.1 rating, almost worse than Hero online, a game about pigeons and little people.

Where is that Runescape that was conciliating games like eve online and everquest???
Where is that Jagex that was awarded the e3 mmorpg award in 2005?
I couldnt find it..

But, jagex took hackings and spamming for so long that they couldnt take it anymore.

So even if it is going to take years for rs to get back from sitting to standing, they had to apply the new rules.

So these are my opinions, there is so much more to talk about but my fingers can only type so many words in a minute.

oo and runescape has always been a little boring to me, but i got into it but i see what you mean. But i never got to experience the old wildy since i joined in 2008 . Crying or Very sad

Hey Ali, its been a while.

I as well am getting tired of runescape, I haven't play much in the past 2 months.

Its not only that runescape changed but you did as well. When you play for such a long time you'll run out of things to do unless you enjoy clicking on virtual trees for hours to get 1 level.

Anyways if you looking for some fun and pking, check out this private server I've been playing. It has skilling, pvp, and a good size community of about 20 - 40 people on at one time.

NOTE that leveling in the server is verry fast. You can get 126 cb in about 3 - 4 hours.

Hey Ali!

Great to hear from you and good luck with school and all. RS is what it is like anyting in life. It is a tool in the gaming community that I choose right now. You know me I play 1 game at a time get into it pwn and move on. ROFL.

Anyway ya Warlord was there when I used the "Technique" above. He was lvl 123 and im still 120. Results were more than satisfying. Um for me anyway. Laughing

haha Gigs good point. lets see 28 hrs of clicking on trees to get 1 freaking lvl. Yep so true.

If you happen to download the client to check it out add that username.

Its soo much better than real rs. no cutting wood 4 hours for 1 lvl anymore.
Big money, Lots of items, Big economy.
Easy xp, little or no lag. Awesome.

Also, jsut so you know the server is almost as protected as real rs. There is so many mods and admins going around muting or jailing people who act inanely.

sOME THINGS I havent listed in previus post:

1. THERE IS around 900 PEOPLE on at one time. Its very big.

2. lVLING IS faster than real rs but you wont get 126 in 3 hours, like 2-4 weeks mattering how long you play each day.

3. There is so much more items than the one giggles had suggested, no offense. Smile

4. Getting money is easy but long enough so people dont get bored. Herblore and farming are the skills to earn money. Just so you know.

Get it i swear you wont be dissapointed. However, Private server doesnt have the whole map of runescape filled with npcs just like the real rs. you can go anywhere you want, but you wont see anything else but banks. Banks work. Smile

EDIT: I didn't like it because of its size. But when I was checking out runelocus I found that the first server I ever played was back up(after 1 year). So I'm going to be playing that for a little! Very Happy

Hey Ali, sounds fun but Hyped servers are not so much my thing. No doubt they can be fun.

Hey Gigs I got a theory for you. Do you think anywhere in the RS forumas that Jagex could have written in something about the weapon used and time spent using it for proficiency.

I might be crazy but I have noticed at different times the more I use a paticular weapon the better it works for me over time.

For example when I used a Whip it seem to work great! hit all the time with high numbers. Then when I switched to Dragon Scim it just sucked. Hardly hit and tended to hit lower numbers. After 500k or so using to trian str it seem to work better.

I went to Green Drags which I did previously but hit more often and higher numbers now. I continued using dragon scim for training str and I would win over ppl using a whip. Now when I went back to whip it sucked! didnt hit as much and hit low numbers. I would lose out to lower cb levels also using a whip.

Same thing when I went back to free. Rune scim sucked and after a day of traing (220k xp) it is back to normal.

Just a thought. Proficiency is a real attribute of using a paticulare type of weapon so you never know with these guys.

No Idea, but I've had similar problems.

A mod once posted in the rs forums that how there luck % works is like if you to spin a wheel with 2 different options for example.

Low %50
High %50

You can get the high 50% just as easy and the low. But when you get it, it doesn't mean you'll hit your max it just means you can hit high. Anyways Its really hard for me to explain but if i was to find that post I'll post it sometime.
