I made this to try and get my old DS buddies on another onling rpg game. Its free now so you have no excuse!
Step 1 - Downloading The Game
Ok first of all you will need to download the game and the expansion pack:
Download World of Warcraft directly from the official site here -
Download The Burning Crusade expansion pack from the official site here -
Step 2 - Updating To Latest Version
Next you need to update the game to the latest version (2.1.3). You can let WoW's autopatcher do this for you if you like by simply running the game.
Otherwise all the patches can be downloaded here:
Step 3 - Creating An Account
Visit these forums and register an account:
Once registered on their forums you can sign up for an account on one of their servers. Do so here:
(I play on wowcrack, its the best).
[COLOR="Red"]Note: It will take up to 10 minutes for your account to become active.[/COLOR]
Step 4 - Connecting To The Server
Now you have a working version of WoW with expansion installed you need to connect to a server that won't charge you monthly. Most private servers would have you editing a file to do so, but this server (wowscape) offers a "WoWscape Launcher" which means you just run the launcher, click the server you want and then click "Launch World of Warcraft". Easy eh? Screenshot below:

Thats it guys, hope you enjoy playing WoW for free. If you feel like saying hi when online my main character is called "Titan".

Guys.. this is free.. runescap is free but wow is much bettter !
You are going to be suprised how many ds players there are in wowcrack server
You should try it out because runescape isn't good for your reputation

yeaa t here are mods and macro's but i wouldn't do it

raiding, whats that? :p Yeah but i got a lot of high lv. friends and they said when i reach lv. 10 they could boost me so i could train faster or something..
so it would be cool if i could play with them

but first the installation goes fast, but then the green dot on the downloading window turns orange, and it says my computer appears to be behind a firewall, and from that moment its starts to run very slow..
how can i solve this?

yeah, but dont i get a lot of virusses on my computer?
i've let it install the whole night and now its 89%
my father doesnt let me turn off the fire walls, cuz he'll be mad if there are virusses on our computer..

when i tried to create an account for WoW they said i needed an authentic key or something
and when i tried to register on the wowscape forum, they ask what's my class and race and all that stuff, but i dont got those things yet because i dont have an account..

pfft, plz someone tell me how to make a World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade account..
i've downloaded and installed all the patches and clients and now i only need an account,
but i dont know how to make one and i made an account on the forums you mentioned, Huib-Bloodstone, but when i trie to log in on those forums they say that they dont find a member who has that name..
plz can someone tell me how i make an account for WoW.
