i need help with the iso files! ive downloaded them but i dont know what to do now..... Sad

Download magiciso, poweriso to extract the files or just use nero burning rom to burn them on a cd or dvd

iso is a literal dump of the data on the CD, byte-for-byte. The data is stored in the ISO-9660 format blabla

One tip for everyone if you download a file that you don't know what it is: go to fileext.com and there you can find a answer to unknown extensions.

Yeah, I believe you have to mount the .ISO on a drive so that the computer thinks that there's a cd in your computer. I suggest you download DAEMONTOOLS and then make a bogus drive and mount the .iso file, and viola, it will run. Good luck.

yep deamon tools is a virtual cd/dvd drive that takes all kinda extensions, can't lie without it Cool

Hey bud sorry I have been real busy.

Ok go back into the clan support section and link into the file server.
Download VirtualCD 98ME.exe

This is Daemon tools. Install it. You will probably need to reboot.
Now go to "C:\Program Files\D-Tools" and start "daemon.exe"
Ther will be a new icon next to the time in the lower right corner.

Right Click it and go to "Virtual CD/DVD Rom"
Select "Number of Devices" 1

Now Right Click and go back to "Virtual CD/DVD Rom"
Select Device 0 [x:] No Media
Select "Mount Image"
Select the "CD1-DS1.iso" you downloaded

That will autostart the DS install. Once it asks you to insert CD 2
Right Click and go back to "Virtual CD/DVD Rom"
Select Device 0 [x:] file name here
Select "Mount Image"
Select the "CD2-DS1.iso" you downloaded

It should continue to install. From there once it's done go back to CD1 and leave it like that. Now you can play DS Single or in the zone and never need to instert your disk.

Hope that helps but you can see why it took me a while to get back to you. It's not exactly an easy answer.

ok scratch that its working but my dad is reinstalling disk 1 ds1 soooooo im pretty much stuck until its done.....10 more hrs to go!

OMFG!!!!!......... it wont let me mount the fricken files i click on mount then on cd1 then a error message pops up saying sorry for the incovience we must quit the program.......... arrrgggg!

yes.....yes i did then i did the whole mount image thingy but it never works

hmm did you download of buy that file ?? if you downloaded it you should look it its corrupted... you can see that if you download magiciso or poweriso.

hey guys good news! i told my mom about me accidentally cracking the ds disk and we just ordered one on ebay! so in less then 1 month i will be back in the zone
