Hey everybody my ip has changed and I don't know y??? Has been the same for a couple of years and now its changed ... not only that ... as of two days ago I can't log in to my own site and im the administrator but i can still log in to my freewebs account and that logs me into my site but then i get messages sent that a new user wicca has signed my guestbook ... very strange and im trying to trouble shoot it ... but because of the ip thing i will not be hosting anymore games ... no body can join now anyways cause its been tryed with ppl that could join before...
hope u set up that day for a game ...
in closing id like to thank you all for your support .... especially MasterR, Sevyboss and Revelations... i apologise for my post chiding the ppl that viewed the petition but didn't sign ... I have been upset about everything too and just wanted to give this petition a last try ...

Hey thnx ~FCO~ Mr GigGles for ur reply ... I don't have a static ip ... i am trying to get in touch with my internet provider ... as for my site, i have always had problems with it ... there have been several gliches and i have contacted freewebs support more than once to try and get it straightened out ... for now I think my log in is working but other things on my site are not and my profile has been changed and when i try to change it back it won't du the changes ... I have contacted freewebs support and try and get some help with it so ... in the meantime if there is anybody out there that would be willing to try and help me with checking out my new ip it is listed on our home page on the LGC site ... here it is ... 207.47.212.150 ... I will be tryin to host everynite this week for around an hour or two at 7 pm central time Saskatchewan ... our time never changes here ... and oh yah i did a reset on my router cause i couldn't get the internet so maybe thats y ppl cant join because i reset it ??? idk

I can try from here if we set a time. I work all during the week and would be happy to try to join or even trouble shoot it with you.

I'm just starting to come out of my disappointment/depression over the lost of DS zone. I think soo we will take Huib's idea and what you have been trying to do to set a day or two of the week for internet games. I just hope ppl still want to play.

I have not had a good non boost duel in WAAAAY too long.

... I am still working on gettin another comp set up to run DS 24-7 but first i need to get some help at home to set it up and im waiting for a desk to be brought over so i can du it ... also after its all set up itll be on another comp so ill have see again if ppl can join my ip on that comp ... but for now im using this comp so I am available when ever its convenient for you ... my time is Central Canadian/Saskatchewan ... Demo sent me a comp and im tryin to get it set up but in the meantime ill use my usual comp ...
I saw Huib's post as well and posted about it in ARA-FF ... if we could only all get together on this I think that we could get some games running for ppl so we can play again Smile

and I too am missin the dualin and well, jus everything about DS1 id say ... It is an awesome game and we all miss it and miss the ppl that we played with ... LGC is available to help in any way that we can bounce

Just as an afterthought ... i found when i host that the hardest thing for ppl to join is the time zone differences and knowing when someone is hosting an internet game ... it is frustrating for the host and the ppl trying to join ... i wish there was a way to show whos hosting a game and sync ing the time zone thing so that ppl dont miss the games ... for example im Central/Canadian but Saskatchewan too meaning Sask time never changes ...

Wicca, it sounds like you have a Dynamic IP Address, it is normal for it to change when your computer is shut off. Also if you reset your router make sure you have your DMZ Hosting turned ON with your LOCAL IP Address "192.168.?.?".

Your IP Address is on the HOME page of the LGC website, but it is yours to see NOT for everyone else to SEE. I hope that makes sence.

Anyways I am almost done, I will be hosting DS all the time. I will post the IP Address on the LGC guest book. I should be done in one or two days.

Hey Lightning,

Good to hear from you bud. DON"T turn on DMZ host if you can help it. That opens every port and takes away any firewall protection you router might provide.

Hey everybody i got this from GWC so am posting it here for anybody thats interested in checking it out ... i tried Hamachi and am going to dl it again ... have a good weekend ...

then you enter the network name. informations:

now you are able to play DungeonSiege in the multiplayer LAN-game

it will be great, if you will enter and say it other LGC and other friends.
I have had a discusion with legit players. they use also hamachi, but they dont want to play with us or have contact with us. if we all are able to make this network bigger it will be very great. maybe we find a better chance to play DS.

I have 4 routhers here. 1 of them a netopia muli ip router and a P4 3hgz wth a gig of memj just sitting in my attic.

Maybe I should register a domain like.

DugeonsiegeZone.come and bind the ip to that machine. THen we can all join by internet adddress.

Dunno just a suggestion. I miss the hell out of DS and just cant take it. I worked so hard for this clan. Practically every day for 2 yrs untill it ended. I admit I wnt off the deep end and kind of disapeared for a while.

Giggles we need to make a working macro that will start Dundeons Siege then start an INternet game host.

I will refresh the game every night at about 1am so that the server is always fresh and in case it crashes it will be restarted every day.

Then for internet games we post every way to join

I llet you all know when its running. HUIB does ara have a multiplayer mod that will allow more than 8 ppl. I was thinking arond 20 should be able to join with no prob as this server will be nothing but a ds game server.

Sounds intresting, and if it was up to 20 people lag shouldnt be a problem since the whole game would be server based.
