As of now I have Posted And Told all about the COTC 2008 preparation to the Following Clans: ;AFA-FF; ;DC; ;GWC; ;SW; ;LGC; ;VIP; and ;SS;. I doubt that we will get reply from every clan i have posted but 2 of them is all we need. Now we just have to wait for them to post here in the COTC 2007 forum topic.

. Had an experience with somebody hittin me with a piercing spell that wasn't allowed for dueling. It was sneaky cause it looked a lot like Turret but i caught it ... finished the duel and i let him know.

He made an excuse but he knew exactly what he was doing and y. I dont like that on game never have. Told him if it was anybody else they might get real mad at him

COTC is usually clash of the CLANS but I would suggest it just be pairs of duelers or even single duelers if we can not all get paired up.

You are Right master. There is very limited amount of players left from each clan. It would be much more convenient if it was a free-for-all match. However, the coinstantaneous casting of gom spells from big amount of players will sure couse lag on the server. That is why i suggest we do this years cotc 2008 in a tournament fashion. We will determine the amount of players that are attending and we will pair each of them up in a random pick. And the winner at the final duel wins the whole tournament. What do you think?

How about this you don't have to team up with your own guldies, you can team with with other guildies and we can erase the COTC 2008, and call this Tourney 2008 =P. so no one is complaining

I can set up a registration in our forum thats open to the public. I was thinking if all the clans involved in this would do this then more ppl would know about it and register.

O.k. Your suggestions and opinions are really inspiring towards finding out what type of a battle this years cotc 2008 will be. As i am really committed to making this duel the best of all, i think i should be one of the judges, or the planners for this event. Not only that i am really interested in this topic, but i am also good with numbers and charts. I will do my best to make this battle funnest and the most challenging for everyone.

Wtf demo, I am sure Wicca had reasons on why you cannot use your char. First of all, you should know that this battle is going to be as clean as it could be. The judges will check the players about cheating or advantages.

No NPC: NPCs are the worst thing you can bring to the game. We cannot even attack the npc nor kill it. This is an abvious cheat and will be discarded from the tournament.

No Mansters: Basicly, if your char looks like anything other than a human, your out.I hate the ones that casts spells very fast, uurgh!.

Manners: Another reasong you might get kciked out will be because you start cursing out stuff with no reason!. You diss everyone and we will kick you.

Hmm here are some abvious ones. The host cannot have "immortal equipment" on. The players cannot attack each other unless informed to. Even things that are negligible like going in the farm pen when someone is dueling will not be tolerated.

iM Sure there is more but my small head cannot find it right now. But yea thats preety much it.

Demo, your char is fine, but for one edit you did, as i explained to wicca.
Did you even look at the link i posted from reaction?.

This edit makes certain duelling spells harmless to you, so has been termed a BAD edit.
Im not going to say what it is in public, for obvious reasons, but told wicca what one.

Change the one edit on your char and its fine, im surprised you are not aware of this.

Ok so i like Huib's idea. Y dont we do that once a month or whenever for the ppl that still like to play this game and keep in touch with other ppl that feel the same. Iv opened our forum for comments and registration.

Demo i asked you to look at the link and suggested that you change your fusion so your char is acceptable for the dueling if in fact you want to duel. I did not say you couldn't use your char so u must have misunderstood me.

Here's the link in case ppl haven't seen it posted all over the place in the clan shouts and forums. I have also suggested that we have some kind of dueling matches and DS gaming on December 8, 2008. I will be hosting a game on that day for anybody that might want to join it. I'll post more about it in November. It will be a year since the zone went down on that date.

Your Right Polly, that is why this years cotc will not be the real Clash of the clans'.

Of course there will be people who will drop out because some guy had a last minute dentist appointment or some girl got soccer practice. Adapting to these conditions is actually fun. If someone drops out , we will match some other person up thats not hard. Whats hard is actually getting everybody to participate. Creating a time where all the duelers can play, and if this all comes true, even dueling in an orderly fashion will be a challenge for the arrangers of this Tournament.

But Personally . For one day i am up to that challenge. At the end i know that if it all comes true every ds player and I will have an awesome time. We will have lots of laughs and lots of smiley faces. That is what im trying to create here in Dungeon Siege.

Trying to do all that just by myself seems extremely hard. So if anyone wants to not just participate in this even but also arrange it, please let me know. Type in msn or post here idc. Especially big guns could help me a lot like Revelations and Mr R.

I am not hoping this thing will come true, i know it. People who wants to participate please post here often so know you are still in this thing..To win!

Hey Ali MasterR asked me to post registration in the LGC forum which i did a few dayz ago. The only ones to register so far are myself and Rynn. I left links in all the clan sites i knew of that would be interested in this including HKRW's shout. This is my way of helping for the COTC or what ever its going to be this year.
I would appreciate if everybody would check it out and register if your interested. I opened this forum for ppl to post without having to register so there's no excuse. As well we need volunteers and ppl to judge and to help to organize the event.

I'm noticing that none of the leaders from HKRW are posting here. Idk but perhaps they r waiting to see what kind of response this is going to get. If ppl r going to post here and say that their interested but not bother registering for it then whats the point in having it?

I sent to Master and offered to help with this in any way that i could. So he suggested I make a forum for registration and put it out there for ppl to post and help with it. Nobody has offered to help as far as I know except for Ali,me and Sevy, and none of us has seen a COTC.

If MasterR isn't in then neither am I.

Do any of u have any idea how much work MasterR did to set up the DSG for us so that we could still play DS and LOA???

It was great for a while. Ppl were playin and lotsa ppl went for Battlelord and then it just kinda died ... again ...

If there isn't the interest in DS or the COTC then whats the point? I would be leary to go to a lot of trouble for ppl that aren't going to play it or show up or offer to help with it.

Hey gang. Rebooted DSG and reset all networking switches and stuff. We had a bad storm last night and my dsl kept dropping.

BTW wicca hit the nail on the head. I have lost my heat again for a game I truley love and don't have what it takes to try to revive it again. Have you ever seen a dwarf with a broken heat. It's not pretty! Last time it took me 5 months to get over when the zone went down and to do something about it. This time . . . . .

I will check in games more often but I litteraly spent hours upon hours searching google, game sites, forums, etc, Posting about DSG everywhere i could playing every day to keep the enthusiasim going. Sent hundreds of emails on top of the work i did to make the server and web site and software all work toegher.

If it comes back and ppl want to keep spamming sites to get players - great I will play. But right now I just cant WORK for it anymore.

I hope everyone understands. I am still a bad ass dwarf looking for adventure so if you find some in elddim, or the gom room or anywhere else let me know LOL.

i dont know all the soft wear like you but i can build the best server money can buy i worked at pogo lunix i worked on a mllion doller server with 27 blades 4 proc head nod i build servers with 16 sata hard drives and ide master drive with 4 gigs of ram amd and intel chips sets so if you need a server i can help with that if i live much longer i will come to the event my blood presser is all messed up and my glacoma is flareing but i will be there have a good one and take it easy

Sorry I haven't really been on this in a good month or so, been doing other things hehe. I couldn't be bothered to read what everyone has said, i just quickly scim read it, I am too sleepy.

Wicca, you were doing well in setting this up, why are you giving up so easily, that's not like you. I know you've been going through a tough time right now, but you're doing well. I admit I have not really been around, since ds is slowly falling to the grave. Also no one is ever on when I am.

Sorry Ali, you seem to be the only HKRW member that might care, I am greatful to see you still here. You truly are a great asset to the team. We will need to send messages out to all the stray clan members so they'll get there butts back into gear for the COTC.

I usually see Mr. Reaction on Runescape whenever I go on, so I can give him a shout to make him get on here more, and I shall do my best also in coming on.

I just want everybody that still players dungeon siege gradually and writes here to know that you guys are truly "Original Gamers". You guys did it, you guys really had brung back ds after zone went down and played in it with passion. You are the longest players of one game i have ever known. I hope gas powered games knows this and is proud of every one of you.

The passion given for this game is more than any other game i have ever played, even the really good ones. Dungeon siege community is honestly the kindest and most amazing community of all. And dungeon siege of course is an outstanding game.

But if you have read the massage of master R about the work he had put to bring back ds again, Its not a preety massage. Downto the point, Dungeon siege is rapidly losing repetition and players. its decaying every day and night. Soon dungeon siege will be nothing but memories of the good times in our lifes. It is very hard to hear it but it is the truth.

However, dungeon siege might be slowly losing its people, but the HKRW clan doesn have to. This is why i am planning to have serious conversations with the Master Reaction itself about moving Hkrw clan to a more recent and more advanced game.

The biggest and most resonable game i have in my mind is World Of Warcraft. Master Reaction has more than enough computer capabilities and experience to be able to create a private server in wow for The love of hkrw. The burning crusade would be around 15 $ is us money but the server would be free so its not a big problem.

This is very possible and with some effort on advertising the move of this clan to wow , we can have a blast playing with favorite friends from dungeon siege.

If master r is busy, i will understand and put my own effort and time to create a private server for our fellow players.

Please leave commments. I dont know if this is a really good idea or a bad one

wow is free, u can download it for free. just check the wow official site and check some links.

a private server isn't smart, u need to fill it up and need players for it to keep it alive.. its gonna cost money to.. u need a nice ISP or delicated server to run it, either from ur own computer or server. u basicly need a sql, apache server for it.

i told subzero that we can do it because i am a WOTLK EMU Programmer for a few months now, seems cool to do it. With a community we have now we can make a great server, u just need some leaders that are executives and GameMasters that know the game from the outside.
